All of my photography packages come with your edited images via an online gallery. Through the gallery, you are able to download all of your images directly to your computer! There are also great printing options from one of the best photo labs in the country. My wedding packages are done as an "a la carte" menu. You can pick and choose what you would like included in your wedding day package. You will start by choosing your hour coverage, then there are a bunch of add-on options such as an engagement session, a second shooter, and a few different albums choices.

Every wedding is different. I always *suggest* a second shooter for many reasons, but I will always be capable of shooting a wedding on my own. Second shooters are useful for photographing the groom getting ready, candids during cocktail hour, as well as reception detail shots while I am focusing on family portraits after the ceremony ends. I TRY to be everywhere at once, but a second shooter makes it much easier!

On average, I deliver around 100 images per one hour of photography. It could be more, it could be less. Engagement sessions seem to be at a higher rate than that. I will always try to deliver as many of the images that I shoot, giving you a wide range of options to look through.

I always try to help out in the wedding planning process when needed. I work closely with my clients and their wedding coordinators to come up with a seamless timeline of the day. I do get asked a lot throughout the planning process on tips and advice when it comes to reception room lighting, placement of the sweetheart table, when and where to do the first look, etc. I've seen it all! I'd like to think I know what works best in most situations. So please feel free to ask any questions about your wedding that you may have! I also have a great list of preferred vendors (or "friendors!") if you are looking for other wedding day professionals to hire.

Shelly was PHENOMENAL. She was very easy to communicate with from the very beginning and she made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. She really listened to what we wanted out of the ceremony and the pictures and executed it perfectly. The day of was relaxing and not stressful for us at all (even though we were both very nervous about taking staged/candid pictures). She also finished the pictures super fast! Wow, where do I even begin? I can't speak more highly of Shelly. From day one she was professional, sweet, understanding, easy, fun, and made both my husband and I feel the most comfortable. To back track, choosing a photographer felt like the hardest thing until both my wedding planner and I stumbled upon Shelly's Instagram and immediately fell in love. We both found her and sent an email to each other and it felt like fate. I was struggling with finding someone with the style I wanted who had a proper business and professionalism with that. I was nervous to just find someone on Instagram who no one I knew had worked with but once I talked to Shelly on the phone, she embodied all of that and more. I was ecstatic. She went out of her way to help us find the perfect engagement shoot locations and even stayed longer to make sure we got those epic shots on the mountain before the storm came through! A big part for me was making sure my husband was comfortable and he absolutely loved Shelly. Once he told me that, I knew we had made the right decision. We had SO much fun on our engagement shoot together that we knew we could trust her even more with our wedding day. For our wedding she came early and scouted locations which I thought was so awesome because she was going out of her way to make sure the lighting and locations were prepared so we weren't rushing around on the day of. She also stuck to schedule and was so organized! Everyone was just so amazed and pleased with her I got so many compliments! The photos turned out absolutely amazing! I couldn't preach more about the value of a photographer like Shelly and how much the time and money was worth it. She captured our day perfectly. Everyone says, OMG, I thought that was a magazine cover, or WOW you guys look like models. She captures moments and emotion perfectly and her editing is just gorgeous. So in the end, I can't express enough how much I appreciated having Shelly as a part of our journey and how grateful we are for her dedication to making sure our day went smooth and that the photos turned out just as we had wanted. Shelly was simply amazing. She shot our engagement session in Page, AZ at Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend then came to New Orleans to shoot our wedding. For our engagement she was so accommodating and very punctual with her emails throughout the process to plan everything. It made everything so easy the day of the shoot because everything was so planned out. The photos came out beautiful and she was super sweet even though the shoot went a bit over what I'd imagine is her normal shooting time for an engagement. As for the wedding, different day same results. Shelly & her second shooter Jamie showed up ready to shoot earlier than expected, captured amazing photos for the prep, ceremony, & reception, and delivered them in impressive time (I believe 2.5 weeks). Considering the number of images she delivered that's unreal. Everyone in our wedding party not only told me how nice our photos came out, but how nice Shelly was to work with. With so many choices in planning a wedding - hiring Shelly was the easiest (and BEST) decision we made. We had seen her finished work from a friends wedding, and knew right away we wanted her. From our first call she was so friendly yet thorough, and all the way through the big day had this effortless way of being extremely organized but never, ever pushy. I had a day-of planner, but I know we would have been truly lost without Shelly there to keep things upbeat and on track. Shelly came out a day early to check out the venue and we talked through the day-of, while we walked the entire property (because I swore there were clovers... sorry Shelly, that was a long walk). I also basically made her drive all over Portland - from shooting the rehearsal dinner, to our day-of 'getting ready' location, THEN following us to the venue. But she had the best attitude the entire time, took everything in stride, and then took the best photos. Right, so THE PHOTOS *swoon* - - our wedding was crazy, did not follow a normal schedule AT ALL, and had 20+ more guests than RSVP'd (how does that even happen??). So, needless to say it was quite the fiasco. Shelly documented moments and faces we otherwise would have missed in unique ways we would have never seen them to begin with. He composition and attention to detail in every shot brought out the depth, emotion and all the energy of the day. Any post editing was consistent, purposeful, and only made the photos/moments feel more authentic and immediately nostalgic. The way she curated her blog post of images from our wedding told the story better than I could have ever described. Every. Single. Image. was beautiful. There were a lot of things that didn't go the way I hoped (vendor flubs, family drama, hungover bridal party haha) but Shelly's photos literally completely changed how, not only myself, but my friends and family remember our wedding. Basically, all I can tell you is: don't get married without Shelly. She really is the best ever. ~Amanda and Taylor
